Catsup... Ketchup.... CATCH UP!

Hello again blogging world, it has been a while since I last visited. The first thing to announce is that for the first time since I was 16 years old I am UNEMPLOYED! I quit work at Basic last Thursday. I have a lot of mixed emotions about the whole situation. I made a lot of good friends there that I will miss a lot. I am, however, excited to be able to devote all my energies to 2 of my favorite people in the whole world, my kids, and boy are they growing up. Taycee is a little ball of smiles and giggles these days. She LOVES to talk to herself or anyone else who will listen, I am afraid of the cell phone bill when she is a teenager. She is getting so close to rolling over and I don't like it. I just want her to stay my little baby forever. I am weening her off nursing, mostly because I am not making much milk anymore but also because she hates it. I don't know why but I feel like putting her on formula is some sort of betrayal.
Kaden is just my little man. He is quickly learning all sorts of new words and can pretty much copy anything you say. We have started him on his little potty and he HATES it. He cries and cries, but he has went a few times. We have one of those potties that sings when the duty is done. The first time he went and it started singing he cried even louder. He is really starting to look like a kid and not a baby. He is full of energy and keeps me on my toes. He is starting to really be nice to Taycee and will come up and kiss her every now and then. We gave him a much needed haircut yesterday and now he looks like he is ready to join the army! He won't sit still for more than 2 seconds so a buzz is really the only way to go with him.

Oh my gosh what a doll. I love this time of life. She is so sweet and so beautiful. I took her blanket into the lady to be quilted last night. I can't wait to finally finish it and give it to her. Kaden is such a handsome man. You have such a beautiful family thanks so much for keeping your blog up to date so I can see everybody and know that you are all well.

I love you very much,

Aunt Kathy

Ya know, when I really think about it, I think that I would start crying harder if my toilet started singing after I pooped! haha!! That would freak me out! And how funny is it that we have the same blog background now....Yay for us!

That is so funny the song scares him! Shawn had that potty too and he hated it at first. Then he realized it was so exciting! Hopefully he will get used to it and learn to love it.Taycee has gotten so big! She just gets cuter and cuter! The video you posted of the river dancing was hilarious. I was laughing so hard! Thanks for the pick me up. I needed it. And thanks so much for your prayers for my mom. It means so much to me. MUAH!

Okay that picture of Kaden all red faced from crying on the potty is priceless. He looks... old. and distraught. Very unlike himself. But that's so funny! Poor kid.
