Yard Work

Ever since we moved into this home the backyard has been a constant project. We knew when we moved in that it needed lots of work and there was a lot we wanted to do with it. Over the last 2 summers we have put in hours of man work but it is finally done.

This is the side yard and was the last to be finished. Because we were blessing Addison in our backyard we had a set deadline to have everything done. We spent almost every free moment in August working in the backyard.

Chris brought in enough dirt to raise up the ground by about 4 feet. One wheelbarrow at a time.

Props to Chris who built the retaining wall all by himself.

We finished just in time for summer to be over. :( Let's hope for lots of beautiful fall weather that we can enjoy on our new patio.
