My babies

Being a mom is an adventure. A mac n' cheese, poopy diaper, giggles and hugs adventure. And as hard as I try we spend a lot of days looking like this...

But being a mom has it's perks, like endless cuddles and smiles from little babes.

And the day when your 4 year old actually sits down and says "Hey mom, take some pictures of me" vs. the days when you were holding suckers and bribing out smiles.

Nothing beats watching your chubby fingered toddler blow kisses and say "see you, luw you" then run away giggling. 

Or looking into her beautiful sky blue eyes and seeing a glimpse of all the incredible things she will be and do.

And there are the bitter sweet moments. Like looking at your little boy that isn't so little anymore. Being so proud of the smart and kind boy that he is but missing the little buddy who use bust up laughing at the toast popping out of the toaster.

Seriously though, when did he get to be so grown up?

At least there is still a lot of goofy left in him.

And oh... those dimples.

Dear babies,

  You are my life. You are in every moment of my days. You make life full and crazy. You push my limits and make me grow. You teach me about what life is really about. You make me better.

Thank you for letting me be your mom.
