Rain, Rain, Go AWAY!

I can't believe it is the 22nd of June and it has literally rained all but like 3 days at our house this month. It makes it very hard to keep a energetic 2 year old happy. But we have found ways to keep ourselves entertained. We bought a wii on Saturday. It was for Chris's graduation/birthday/fathers day since they all happen within 3 weeks of each other. Kaden has no idea how to play it but it still keeps him entertained. He especially likes the guitar for guitar hero. He is a funny little dude. He learns so fast it amazes me. The other night Chris was playing Mario Kart and he called one of the drivers a punk. Next thing I knew Kaden was standing right by Chris saying "punk, punk, punk" every time he saw a driver. He is also learning his shapes and numbers and colors. I just can't believe he is 2. He brought me a show the other day and asked me to put it on. I said "what do you say" trying to coax a please out of him. He gave me a determined look and said "put that show on now". Guess we have some work to do on that. The sad news is that it has been decided he needs tubes. He has pretty much had non stop ear infections since he was 3 mo. We have tried every prescription they make for that and nothing helps long term. The doctor is worried it is starting to effect his speech. He has so much fluid behind his ear drum he doesn't hear things normally. Which would explain why his speech is understandable only to me. So July 21st we have an appointment with the ENT.
Taycee is 7 mo. today! HOLY SMOKES! I can't believe how fast that has gone. She is such a good baby and always has a smile ready. We think her first teeth might be breaking through because she has been fussy and drooling and chewing on everything the last few days. So maybe we'll see some teethins poking through soon!
That's pretty much it this week from the Clayton house. We leave for San Diego in about 12 days. That will be a much needed break. - Over and Out

Chris and Kaden riding the Merry-go-round at Jungle Jims ( we went again) good thing its indoors

Kaden and Hunter.. wahoo mom and dad don't have to bend themselves into a pretzel to ride

Tired Girl

We spent the day at Aunt Bettys cabin on Friday. Grandma was nice enough to take Kaden outside to play in the dirt and sticks.

I don't know if you can tell but Taycee managed to pull her headband off her head and over her am so it is under her arm pit!

Back to the Kaden has to feed himself problem. Here he fed himself spaghetti.

Our pretty princess

So Happy

My Guitar Hero

This is the picture my sister Heather was so nice to help me photoshop for Chris's fathers day. It went on a pillow with the words "Sleep Well Daddy" "We Love You"

Happy Birthday Chris!

Happy Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband. The big 26! My little man is growing up. haha. It seems like birthdays get harder and harder every year. This year Chris had to work so we started the morning with breakfast in bed... which he shared with Kaden. Then Chris went to work and I frantically tried to get everything ready to take the kids to his work and surprise him with balloons and cupcakes. I failed miserably. Chris walked out as we pulled up and pretty much I spent all day getting the kids ready and running around getting everything then making the 20 minute drive there... for nothing. Oh well...there's always next year. We got a free meal at Tucanos for Chris's birthday so thats where we went for his birthday dinner. Everyone but Kaden that is. He got to stay home with a baby sitter. Man there is good food there, but holy crumb do you get full fast. We hope that you had a great birthday Chris (Dad)
The Kids LOVE to spend time with Chris in the morning. Kaden especially loves to eat his waffles.

These are the humonsterous balloons we got him.

Before Tucanos....

During Tucanos
What a stud muffin

After Tucanos...

I just love this baby girl and her cute smile.

This is the video of the Tucanos Crew singing to Chris. I am dumb and recorded it both ways so half of it is sideways... sorry.

Thanks Chris for being such an awesome person. You are a great example to me and our children. I am so lucky to have you all to myself ;) Thanks for another year of good times and great memories. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Oh what do you do...

When its 1 am and you can't sleep????......... BLOG about the randomness on your camera.

Hunter told me this week Jenny is his favorite sister because she is more fun.... how rude.

Random Random sister pictures

Jenny and I being... "natural beauties" hah, I say that because we have no make-up on and our hair isn't done and we have random bush flowers behind our ears. haha. I love it.

A little boy with a broken flower.

Kaden is at the stage where he refuses to eat unless he can do it himself... we found out yesterday he LOVES pizza. He ate almost 3 slices.

What do you do when its pouring rain??.. GO PLAY IN IT!!!
Yes we really did go outside and jump around in the puddles. It was great fun. I recommend you all try it. Especially if you have kids.

We ended up soaking wet... but it was totally worth it.

What do you do when your Lagoon day gets canceled because of rain??... Go to a miniature indoor Lagoon for kids.

It actually turned out to be a blast. Kaden had the time of his life. We spent the entire day doing fun things as a family. WE went to the living planet aquarium with Becky and her kids and then met up with Mike and Leanna at Jungle Jims where Kaden got to ride all sorts of fun kid rides.

Dad doesn't fit in here very well

Look Everyone one hand per wheel!

This is a cool picture. Better yet... Kaden is smiling for the camera! WAHOO!

He actually hated this ride... it got going really fast. Poor Caleb was probably wishing we hadn't sat Kaden with him. They had to stop the ride so we could get him off.

And of course sister just smiled and watched the whole time.

I know it is really annoying when people gush about how much they love their family. But I really am just so filled with love right now. I feel so lucky to have my family as mine. Chris is an amazing father and husband and my kids are pretty much the best. I am SO grateful to know we will be together for eternity.

Weekend at the Webre's

We had a really fun weekend at my moms house full of family, fun, and good food. It was a relaxing weekend and I don't think I did my hair or makeup any day but Sunday :).
The weather wasn't super warm but her pool was about 88. So it was perfect.
Here is Chris catapulting Kaden out of the pool. Crazy Kid loves it.

Here is Kaden getting ready to go snorkeling

Mom and Taycee chillin in the hammock

We hiked up to Easter Falls, the falls were minimal but it was a pretty view anyway.

Aunt Jenny and Taycee, with a little Kung Fu Panda in the background

Kaden adores Hunter. He follows him all around the house and wants to do whatever he is doing. When he can't find him he just wanders around saying "Huner" He wouldn't even stay in nursery because he wanted to be with Hunter. Hunter is learning to ride his bike, we were out riding around and Kaden saw. Hunter had his helmet on and Kaden went into the garage and found another helmet that looked like Hunters. He put it on his head and insisted that he ride the big boy bike just like Hunter was. Grandpa Webre was a good sport and pushed him around for awhile.

Kaden also loves to go on four wheeler rides. Uncle Hunter took him on a few around the coldesac.
