Its almost Christmas...

I can't believe it's Christmas tomorrow... technically Taycee should be arriving today. AHH I can't say I wish I was still pregnant :)

One month

I can not believe Taycee is one month! HOLY CROW can someone please slow time down a little bit. She is getting bigger she has gained almost a pound since birth and is now 6 lbs 9 oz. All of her clothes are still HUGE! :( One of the funnest parts of having a girl is dressing them up and all the cute clothes I bought drown her. However our good friends gave me a few preemie dresses and I put some HUGE tights ( that go up to her arm pits and could fit 6 of her legs) and a newborn onsie ( that is really big but the dress hides it well) on. I made this bright green flower bow that I have been dying for her to wear. It really is a small flower but on her head it looks HUGE. Oh well I still think she is adorable. I also dressed her up in a little pink outfit that says "baby girl" since that is what everyone in the family calls her.

HE PASSED!!

Chris passed the FE. We got the test resutls last night!! This was the HUGE 10 hour test he took a few months back that we asked everyone pray extra hard for! Thanks for all of your prayers and support.... oh and by the way.... this was how Chris reacted....

Good Job Honey I am so proud of you!! Thanks for working so hard for our family.

What the heck…

Was I thinking??...Getting my wisdom teeth out at 23 when I had a baby 2 weeks ago ….holy crow! I got my wisdom teeth out last night. I had to fast for basically 24 hours so I was starving going into the operation. Needless to say I didn't feel much like eating when I got out so I am now officially famished but have no desire to open my mouth. The first thing the doctor said when he looked at my x-rays was… those aren't going to be easy. Now I was out for the whole thing so I don't know how easy they were or weren't but I feel like a truck ran over my head several times and then backed up just to make sure the job was done. I look like this…

Just not as cute. When we got home last night I got up a few times and the last time when I got up to put on some pajamas I passed out on the floor… KABLAM… I am pretty sure I hit my head and bent my wrist back a bit. (Nice job Jill) Oh well could have been worse. Because of the 36 hour fast my milk supply is dwindling… I need to start drinking/eating
soon or Tay is going to get a taste of formula! Anyway, I am sure it will all get better soon. J

Ok here are a few darling pics of little baby Taycee. I will post the other sitting of Kaden and the family as soon as I can. Kaden was so great during the first little bit ( which is when we took his pictures)... and then he got a bit fussy! Anywho I must explain the story behind Taycee's little Christmas dress, which you can't see super great in this picture but can see well in the other ones.

Taycee is still tiny! Itty Bitty actually, so finding clothes for her is very hard! I was determined to find a cute Christmas dress for her and Kadens pictures together and so the hunt began... and it was quite the hunt. We looked EVERYWHERE! I searched stores online and off. It seems that most preemie stuff is pink and cuddly but its all the same. I wanted something red and pretty... anywho... Claudia was up last week so we went shopping almost everyday to find a dress tiny enough, but nothing fit. Finally we walked into Dillard's and found something like this...

It was a different color but the same idea. It was a 2T dress with a tiny doll dress attached. And guess what... it fit her PERFECT!! The problem was the toddler dress was 60 dollars. WHAT!?! So we begged and pleaded for the people to sell us just the doll dress for less... no go... so we tried a different Dillard's.... still no go. SO what did I do? I bought the 2T dress for 60 stinkin dollars so she had the perfect tiny little Christmas dress for pictures I had been searching for.

Luckily I have an awesome aunt who offered to buy the big dress off me for one of her granddaughters so I won't really end up paying 60 dollars. :)

Anyway here are her perfect little pictures... they are unedited so they aren't all centered or cropped like I would like. I will post the family ones as soon as I get them.

I made this tutu and the bow. I think I am going to start selling my bows and tutu's. If you know anyone who would be interested let me know. My prices will be very inexpensive in comparison to what you can buy them for in the stores. :)

Kaden:

1. He is so smart! He is always amazing me at how quickly he picks up on things. Recently he has learned to say "sister" it sounds more like "si uh" but it is still so darn cute.
   
2. His HUGE Dimples. Who can resist that darling little face?
   
3. He loves to entertain. Yesterday he came running out of his room nudy trudy dancing with this crazy rapping reindeer grandma bought him.
   
4. He is such a good boy…. Most of the time…… he really does have the best disposition and he is so happy.
   
5. He gets so genuinely excited to see Chris and I. Nothing is better than when he gets a huge grin and comes running with open arms. I LOVE IT!
   

   
    

Taycee:

1. She is an angel. Literally she is my angel, she fills a hole in my heart I didn't know was there. It is amazing how much your heart grows with each child.
   
2. She does this thing with her tongue and her lips whenever she finishes eating, it is like this smacking sound but with puckered lips. It cracks me up
   
3. She will go 4 sometimes 5 hours at night between feedings
   
4. She is just so darn cute. I just sit and stare at her and admire how perfect she is.
   
5. I know she was meant to be in our family at this time. I dreamed about her months before we even started talking about another baby and has several dreams of her after. She has such a special spirit and I know she is going to do great things!

Family

We have had a lot of family together time lately and I am lovin it! On Monday we decorated the house for Christmas. Kaden thought it was the greatest thing ever, he even hung a few ornaments on the tree himself. He would hang them up clap for himself take it back off and hang it up again. Good thing we have plastic ornament instead of the real glass ones! :) He also thought the lights were pretty cool and would say "ooo" when we turned them on.
Grandma Clayton has been here the past few days to help out with the babes and it has been WONDERFUL! She is like super woman she takes care of the kids, cleans my house, buys my groceries.... the list goes on. I suggest you all go find one just like her for yourself (I am not sharing). I don't think Kaden will know what to do when she is gone.... I don't think I will know what to do when she is gone.

I feel like I havent given an update on Kaden for awhile. He is still growing and learning so fast. He has picked up on a few new tricks. He holds on to the door frame and lifts up one leg. He thinks he is pretty cool. He claps for himself and then does it again. He also has learned how to do a somersault and thinks that is pretty neat too. His 18 mo check up is Friday and I am hoping the doctor doesn't think he needs tubes in his ears because of all the ear infections.

Taycee has been staying awake a lot more... unfortunately it is usually in the middle of the night. Last night at about 4 she started to smile so I grabbed the camera and caught a few. Unfortunately the lighting was HORRIBLE because I didn't want to use a flash and I only had my bed lamp on. She sure is a cutie

Love

I love my children. It's hard to imagine loving something so instantly with all your heart. Kaden has finally really taken to Taycee he loves her and pats her and looks at her. He laughs when she makes noises... It is so cute. We did a little photo shoot with both of them and he actually held her and put his arm around her. I LOVE MY KIDS!

FUNNY STORY!!

Oh man does this make me laugh. Today I instructed Chris to wake up the baby and feed her the bottle in the fridge while I went downstairs to pump. ( I knew there was no way she would drink enough to make me comfortable) While I was pumping I hear Hunter yell... "Jill, the baby just peed on Chris" then about 2 minutes later I hear him yell again... "Jill the baby just pooped on Chris". About 10 minutes later Chris walked downstairs with a big wet spot on his pants and yellow poop splattered across his shirt. HAHAHAHA I couldn't stop laughing. Apparently to wake Taycee up Chris laid her on his lap to change her, while he was changing her she started to wet a little so he covered her with a diaper and laughed at her saying "ha you cant pee on me like your brother did" well that must have ticked her off because as soon he removed the diaper she made sure to wet again all over his lap. And then seconds later she machine shot gunned poop all over his chest... I dont think he will taunt her again ;)
